ABOUT ME

I provide psychotherapy to adults (18+) in New York via telehealth. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and hold a Master-level Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-Master) credential. This informs a recovery-oriented lens in my outpatient work.

MY APPROACH

Brave Bloom Counseling acknowledges the unique context each person brings to therapy. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based techniques and individualized care, with thoughtful assessment and shared decision-making. I practice from a trauma-informed, non-pathologizing perspective. I seek to understand clients through the lens of their experiences — rather than labeling or judging — while supporting meaningful change. My priority is creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.

MY PERSPECTIVE AND VALUES

My clinical perspective is shaped not only by professional training, but also by lived experience navigating complex life circumstances and deeply challenging periods of change. These experiences deepen my empathy without shaping your story. This lived understanding adds depth to my work and supports an approach that is attuned and authentic.

My work is informed by an understanding of how intersecting identities, social environments, and cultures shape mental health and wellness. I provide affirming care across sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures, and welcome clients who have faced systemic, legal, or cultural barriers to care. I prioritize power-aware therapy that honors each person’s agency. I create a therapeutic environment that feels human while maintaining clear, consistent professional boundaries.
